About LX Audiolabs

CLAP-First

All LX Audiolabs plugins are built exclusively for the CLAP plugin format — an open, modern standard designed by audio developers who wanted to break free from legacy limitations. CLAP is supported in Bitwig Studio, Reaper, Studio One, and FL Studio.

If your DAW doesn't support CLAP yet — write their support a friendly email. Or just switch to one that does. 🦖

AI-Assisted Analysis

No AI runs inside the plugins. Every EQ curve, every compressor threshold, every spectral display is 100% deterministic math — no neural networks touching your audio.

"AI-first" means these plugins were developed with AI pair-programming. And they ship with SNAP: a function that exports your complete plugin state — spectrum, band levels, parameters — as a structured markdown snapshot. Feed that into ChatGPT, Claude, or any LLM and get analysis, suggestions, or a second opinion on your mix. The AI works for you, not in the signal path.

We chose this open, non-prescriptive approach deliberately. This isn't a tool that claims to do everything for you — it's a tool you can teach to handle your specific situation. No black boxes, no locked-in workflows. Just clean data you control, and an AI that adapts to how you work — not the other way around.

Built by a Producer

Behind LX Audiolabs is a solo producer with ~40 years in electronic music — from soldering DIY modular systems to releasing Deep Hypnotic / Ambient Techno as LXNDR (BE) and ITEM8 on multiple labels. He also founded Ardvinnamoon, his own independent label.

These plugins aren't built by a faceless company. They're born from real sessions in Bitwig and Reaper — scratch-your-own-itch tools that solve actual mixing and mastering problems, released for free because good tools should be accessible.
